Brighten your table with these three easy tips.

1. Start with linens. "Keep the table surface neutral, using napkins and place mats to play up a particular palette," says Lindsey.

2. Shop the produce aisle. "Centerpieces created from fruit and flowers found at the supermarket lend color for little cost," she says.

3. Use distinctive glassware. Look for colorful glasses at thrift stores, or bring out your family heirlooms. "It's always beautiful when you mix new with old and color with clear," Lindsey says.
