Tell us about yourself.
I work full time at IMS (selling medical equipment) and for 7 years taught dance and coached a dance team (John Carroll Catholic
High School). I have been married to my fantastic husband, Chris, for 4 years and we have a beautiful 2-year-old daughter,
Avery.
When were you diagnosed?
March 2003
How has cancer changed your outlook on life?
Having cancer made me want to live each day to the fullest and have no regrets, to stay as close to family as possible and
be thankful each day that I am here to live it.
What words of encouragement would you share with others with cancer?
To someone that has just been diagnosed, I would tell them not to panic, to pray, to stay positive (attitude is everything!)
and fight fight fight! Get family and friends involved-the more people you have on your side fighting the fight with you the
better!
