Tell us about yourself.
I am now a full time stay-at-home mom.  Before kids, I was a CPA with Ernst & Young and worked for  Equitable Real Estate.  I love to play games with my family, jog, play tennis, volunteer at both my girls schools and our church, and read when I have time.

When were you diagnosed?
April 1, 2010 (not a funny April Fools day joke!)

I am currently finishing my chemo treatments for breast cancer. I have had a total of eight surgical procedures since my first biopsy on April 1st.  I have my last chemo treatment next week and then my 2nd reconstructive surgery in October from a bilateral mastectomy.

It has been a bumpy road with all my surgeries and chemo, but also such a journey.  My family and I have all bonded and fought this battle together.

What words of encouragement would you share with others with cancer?
I always tell them to be positive, believe you can beat this, and you will come out stronger at the end.  It really makes you have faith and treasure each day!
