If your family likes pizza, try making it even more fun and healthy, by letting everyone make their own. The key to great homemade pizza, is to start with a hot oven, and use a pizza stone or baking sheet. It will give you a crispy crust every time. To save time, I like to start with pre-made whole wheat pizza dough from the grocery store. The whole wheat dough adds a nutty flavor, plus it has fiber and other nutrients. And you can store it in the freezer until you're ready to use it. When you're ready to eat, pre-heat the oven to 500 degrees. Now while the oven pre-heats, let the dough rise and then divide into four equal portions. Sprinkle a little flour on your work surface. To keep the dough from sticking and then roll each portion out into a circle that's about seven inches and then coat it with cooking spray. Slide each pizza dough onto the hot pizza stone and then bake for four minutes or until they're lightly browned. Once the dough is toasted,. Topped with marinara sauce I like using one that's low in sodium it doesn't have any sugar. Then let everyone make their own I love Hawaiian pizza so I have fresh mozzarella pineapple and my favorite chopped black forest ham. Deli ham is a great shortcut here just be sure to choose one that's all natural and preservative free. [MUSIC] Then just pop the pizzas back into the oven for about eight minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the toppings are nice and hot. Just finish with some freshly ground black pepper and you're done. Hawaiian pizza that's good for you. And even faster than waiting for delivery. [MUSIC]
