The Venue

Beth grew up in nearby Scottsboro, Alabama, and always wanted to be married at Gorham’s Bluff. “It’s such a surprising place,” she says. “It’s in a small, rural corner of the state. Driving up the winding mountainous road, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, and all of a sudden you’re on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River. It’s just beautiful and quintessentially Southern,” Beth says.  “We all stayed in cottages on the grounds and felt more like neighbors than guests.”
