TO ENTER ONLINE:
All digital entries should be submitted to homeawards@southernliving.com by March 15, 2013.

Each entry should include:

  • a completed entry form.
  • a description of the project, including your original goals and intents, any design challenges you encountered and the solutions, square footage, and other general project information. At the top of the description, please list the name of the category and the name of the project. DO NOT include your name or your company’s name on the project description.
  • floor plans (reduced to 8 1/2 x 11 paper size). For renovation entries, “before” plans should also be included. Please do not send full-size blueprints.
  • color photographs of the completed project. Please send enough photographs to give us a full and complete understanding of the project. To ensure the best quality, we recommend taking pictures with a digital camera, not a smartphone camera. For additions and renovations, “before” photos should also be included. Please send all photographs as a single PDF that is no larger than 7MB.

Please Note: Because all entries will be judged anonymously, please DO NOT include any information that would reveal the architect, builder, designer, or exact home location on anything other than the entry form.

For questions, please see Frequently Asked Questions or contact homeawards@southernliving.com and include QUESTION in the subject line.
