[MUSIC] At Southern Living, we think supper should be quick, easy and delicious. Here's what's for supper. Hi, I'm Norman, from the Southern Living test kitchen. At Southern Living, we know that when company is coming for supper, a host's time is invaluable. Here are some simple main dishes that are special enough for entertaining and come together in 30 minutes or less. Turkey piccata. A quick Italian-style dish that goes great over pasta, turkey piccata is flavorful and has plenty of flair. Thin slices of fresh turkey are lightly coated in flour, then pan-seared and topped with a zesty sauce made from white wine, fresh lemon juice, butter, and capers. [MUSIC] Serve this along with a fresh salad and a glass of crisp, white wine. Almond crusted tilapia. The six ingredient simplicity of almond crusted tilapia makes it an ideal choice for entertaining. The fish is pan fried for quick cooking, resulting in a wonderfully tender and flaky fillet with a crisp, buttery coating. The toasted nutty flavors pair perfectly with blanched green beans and mashed potatoes. Shrimp scampi. Shrimp scampi combines fresh shrimp cooked in a butter and garlic sauce and tossed with angel hair pasta and Italian herbs. Altogether, the complete dish can be on the table in 30 minutes. Top with freshly grated Romano cheese and fresh chopped parsley to add some flavor and some color. To save even more time, purchase shrimp that are already peeled and deveined. Tuscan pork chops. With ten ingredients and a large skillet, you can serve your guests delicious Tuscan pork chops in less than 20 minutes. This recipe features seared, inch thick, boneless pork chops, topped with a fresh homemade tomato sauce. To save time when making the sauce, substitute bottled minced garlic for fresh minced garlic cloves.
