We value the creativity that comes from our readers’ kitchens. Such is the case with Cappy Hall Rearick of St. Simons Island, Georgia, who turned us on to the power of canned tomatoes. After trying her recipes for Hearty Tomato Blend and Quick Salsa, we tinkered with the idea of slow-roasting canned tomatoes. The result: Oven-Roasted Tomatoes―one of the tastiest recipes we’ve produced in a long time.
