Pasta is one of the most versatile ingredients. Combine it with fresh veggies, and it's even better. It's a fast-cooking, affordable addition to menus for parties, picnics, or simple meals.

Vegetable-Bacon Noodle Toss mixes squash, tomatoes, and parsley with bacon and balsamic vinaigrette for a hearty, wholesome main dish. Broccoli-Pasta Alfredo is a meat-free, creamy mixture of broccoli, shallots, basil, and Parmesan cheese. Serve either of these with salad and toasted, herb-flavored Italian bread--and pronto, you're ready to dine.
