[MUSIC] We love field pea season, and when we find black-eyed peas at the farmer's market we can't wait to fix them. Here's the easiest way. Saute onion and garlic in a saucepan, and once they're fragrant, add peas, water, and bacon. Simmer, partially covered for 30 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. And that's it. Perfectly cooked black-eyed peas.
