Take a break from the traditional wreath, and try this easy-to-make decoration.
This year, we brought something new to the front door. Fruit, flowers, ribbons, and greenery create an elegant arrangement.
Cut a block of water-soaked florist oasis to fit a wall basket. Line the container with plastic so that water will not drip. Because our basket has an open weave, we also lined the inside with sheet moss. White roses, red tulips, and green 'Kermit' mums provide the focal point. Hypericum berries, holly, and aucuba, along with cuttings of ivy and red wired ribbon, add more color. Green apples tucked in with florist picks are the final touch.
