Reindeer Gingersnaps make great treats for a children's party. We use gingerbread mix to ease the prep. Turn this recipe into a fun project at home, and let the kids decorate their own reindeer. (Be sure to choose age-appropriate candy decorations; some could be choking hazards.)

The hardest part about making Salty Chocolate-Pecan Candy is waiting for the chocolate to firm up before devouring it.

You'll have guests begging for the recipes of these irresistible sweets. Package them in festive tins or cellophane bags as gifts, and you'll be more popular than Santa Claus.

To get the marbled effect on Salty Chocolate-Pecan Candy, alternate white and dark chocolate squares on a baking pan. Bake as directed, remove from oven, and immediately swirl the warm chocolate with a wooden pick.

"Super-Easy Sweets" is from the Home for the Holidays 2007 issue of Southern Living.
