Hi, I'm Vanessa from Southern Living Test Kitchens, and we're going to make some great Halloween treats. They're very easy. You don't even have to turn the oven on, and they're called ghost cakes. We're gonna start with ready-made frosting that you can buy in the grocery store. And all you need to do is microwave it for about 30 seconds. Now, depending on your microwave, you might wanna start with 15 seconds until it becomes nice and thin and easy to stir. After you've microwaved the frosting you can see how nice and rich and creamy this is. And all we're gonna do is place this in a zip-top bag. So let's just pour it in here. I'm not gonna pour all of it because it will make the bag just a little, really difficult to be able to squeeze. With the zip-top bag it makes it so easy to pipe onto the cake. So you can see that it just makes a little tip on the bag, and you take a pair of scissors and cut the very tip or the end of the bag and you place it on top of the cakes, and go up. And then fill in the cake's very easy, like this. And you can see how simple this is to make a great Halloween treat. You can get your children involved, and it also takes no time at all. It doesn't have to be perfect. Now after you filled each one in as a ghost, then we can place the eyes on the ghost. You take some black gel frosting, and just place little dots and now you can see how easy it is to make cute little ghosts that you didn't even have to bake. Now these are Moon Pies, which is a great base for the ghost cakes. All it is is marshmallow in the inside and graham cracker and chocolate on the outside. And also during Halloween time they come in orange, so you could have chocolate and orange ghost cakes. We've made the ghost cakes, and now, all you have to do is serve them at your next party or wrap them up and give them as a gift.
