Light and Springy

A Southern-made scarf that's fun, flirty, and bursting with color

Oblong Garden Gate Scarf
Robbie Caponetto

LOCAL CRAFTSMANSHIP Birmingham artisans Mary Catherine Folmar of Cotton + Quill and Elizabeth Adams of ExVoto Vintage teamed up to create this spring’s best accessory: a cotton/silk-blend scarf available in three colors.

EXOTIC FLAIR Folmar, the print guru, drew inspiration from her travels to Taiwan for this koi fish, bonsai tree, and temple design. Adams selected the dangling keyhole charm for an element of mystery—a hallmark of Asian gardens.

VERSATILE DESIGN This 67-by 13-inch rectangular scarf is cut to drape neatly around your neck or be tied onto a handbag handle. A piece this sheer is breezy enough to wear during spring and into summer and fall.
