Hello I am [UNKNOWN] pastry chef from Windsor Hotel in New Orleans. I'm going to show you how to make a apple [UNKNOWN]. Here we have 8 ounces of all purpose flour and we got 1 teaspoon of sugar and then one-half a teaspoon of salt. And then we go ahead to mix these together. And we need about a pound of butter, cream cheese. Turn on our mixer. [MUSIC] So we let it mix, and then keep your eye on it, and make sure the butter and your cream cheese doesn't completely incorporated into a big bowl, so, and you want it to see if it become a little pieces and you see at the bottom is few sandy which you want it. Just knead it until all is just come together [MUSIC] And that's pretty much it. So wrap this thing up in a plastic wrap and then let it cool in your cooler about 30 minutes, and then you take it out. Use the rolling pin and roll it to about one-eight of a inch. And I use a four inches Round cutter to cut out doughs like this, like a disc. Here, I have some almond cake batter. And I also like this, put it into the base of the tart so it will soak up all these juices coming out from the apple. You can use, like, a half a apple for your tart, and I just roughly slice it, all right, and then put it on like this, [BLANK_AUDIO] and then you come up, there's that folding, all right. And it doesn't there's no good way or bad way to do this. It's just to close it down. Once you get it and then just close it up with your hand like this and then pre heat your oven 325 degrees and then bake it until on the side is A golden brown and it will take about ten minutes. Here's our finished product. It's best to serve it warm and always good to sprinkling some cinnamon on top before you serve it just because it's apple cinnamon. One of the crowd pleasers will be baked scoop of vanilla ice-cream right on top of it and let it melt a little. So your create a Glaze sauce on it's own that is my suggestion to you. Thank you so much.
