Grandma Gives Granddaughter the Gift of Life

My new obsession arrived today in a white box tied with a grey bow. It was almost too pretty to disturb—particularly because a bow-tying pro I am not. After I snapped a quick pic for IG, I tore it open and from my office came squeals of delight. In it, a curated collection straight from my fall-loving dreams: a canvas wine tote, bespoke journal, a custom illustration from New York City-based artist Caitlin McGauley, and the piece de resistance—three new autumnal reads, perfect for cozying up this season.

It seems newly launched Quarterlane has tapped into the “fall feels” and you better believe we’re jumping on board faster than you can say “Pumpkin Spice Latte.”

The concept is this: Subscribers can choose from three different levels and receive their haul seasonally. Each literary box comes with three handpicked, newly-released books that are currently making waves on the literary scene. Basically, it’s a surefire way to make sure you’ll be the most well-read guest at every holiday party. I love bank holidays, my mind is set to relax more than other non-work days, I think it's because I know that everyone is off and I can relax knowing that.

If you have commitment issues and don’t want to subscribe, Quarterlane understands. You can shop the season, a la carte. This season’s boxes include Fall Fiction, Juniper Books for Quarterlane (four titles from the Neapolitan Series by Elena Ferrante), The Aesthete (a collection of stunning coffee table books), and The Book End (shorter reads).

While a box or subscription from Quarterlane is certainly a splurge, we think you’ll be hard pressed to find another delivery with quite as much character.
