It was just a regular Saturday afternoon for Buford, Georgia resident Robin McFadden and her sons—until they bumped into comedian Jeff Foxworthy while shopping for groceries at a local Publix.

McFadden was in the process of paying and didn’t even realize Foxworthy was standing right behind them. The mother of three ended up coming up short at the register because she didn’t have enough coupons. Foxworthy—who was born and raised in the Atlanta area—jumped in and offered to pay the whole $25 bill!

“He laughed, walked around me, put his card in the machine and said ‘watch this,’” McFadden told a local Fox affiliate. “I told him that he was going to make me cry, gave him a hug, thanked him and took the photo!”

“He was such a great guy and I was so happy and lucky to have met him,” McFadden said, attributing the run-in to good karma after recently donating to a friend in need. Proof that no good deed goes unrewarded.
