Whether you like your biscuits warm and flaky with butter, topped with creamy chocolate gravy, smeared with apple butter, drizzled with honey, or smothered in sausage gravy – you won't want to miss the inaugural Natchez Biscuit Festival in Natchez, Mississippi.

Natchez is considered the Biscuit Capital of the World, and this first-ever festival will honor this tasty tradition. On Saturday, Sept. 24, make your way down to Biscuit Alley for a day of cook-offs, chef demonstrations, public tastings (yes, please), and, of course, the crowning of the Biscuit Queen. Plus, it's free to attend!

Grab your Grandmomma's best biscuit recipe, and join in the fun. The Biscuit Cook-Off will have competitions for children, home cooks, and chefs alike. And, even if Gammie's breakfast biscuits don't place, they'll still have a shot at ranking for "Most Creative." The Festival will feature renowned chefs Regina Charboneau of King's Tavern and Richard "Bingo" Starr of Carriage House sharing their best biscuit-making tips and leading the demonstrations.
